What Causes Knots Under Skin After Donating Blood Plasma?

I donated blood plasma earlier today. During the donation, the technician had to move the needle around in the vein multiple times. Eventually, he had to transfer the iv to the other arm to return my red blood cells. As of now my arm has to large knots in it under my skin. One is at the needle insertion site and the second is along that vein about 1 inch above. They are somewhat painful. Should I be concerned?
