What Causes Knot On The Back Of Neck After An Injury?
I fell off a parade float last sat and had to have three staples in my head. No concussion or fracture it was ear the top of my head above my ear. Yesterday I noticed a marble size knot on the back of my neck it is getting tender to touch. Didn t know if I should be worried

It looks like a developing haematoma which is collection of fluid anf blood in subcutaneous tissue.
As u have staples than I hope ur taking antibiotics.
Ice application with thrmbophob or heparin ointment will definitely help.
If it increases in size or it gets very tender or pus discharge than visit ur treating doctor.
