Vaginal yeast infections may also associated with thick chunky vaginal discharge that is common in yeast infections. The cream that you have tried is a topical anesthetic and it won t take care of the yeast infection If I was the treating doctor I would have asked you to use an OTC topical antifungal e.g clotrimazole vaginal tablets once daily for 7 days. A single dose of an Oral antifungal e.g fluconzole is also curative. Oral antifungals are prescription drugs. If the condition does nt improve as expected, I would suggest that you visit a specialist for a review of the diagnosis. Regards
