What Causes Itchy Throat And Watery Eyes?
what can cause throat itching and having the sensation of black pepper up your nose. Then your mouth fills up with clear mucus and you have to spit it out, your eyes fill with tears. That happens about every hour and when the episode is over you are ok. Episodes only last about 30 to 60 seconds. No other discomfort associated with this.

It is most likely due to post nasal drip which are usually due to allergies.
Allergies can occur as a result of exposure to any agent. Allergies can be due to dust, pollen, animal dander, foods/drinks.
Using an oral antihistamine and topical steroid nasal spray would help.
