Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of itchy scalp, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Don't apply hair oil for at least 30 days.
3. Apply a mild antifungal plus steroid lotion like candid-b once at night.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
