Hi!!I have gone through your complaints and your doctor is correct in saying that you are having rosacea due to excessive use of steroids. You should immediately stop applying diprovate RD and start with tablet doxycycline 100 mg daily at bed time. You should apply metrogyl gel on the red areas twice daily and benzoyl peroxide 2.5 percent on the bumps twice daily. This treatment can be continued for three weeks and then you can revert back to me for follow up.Avoid direct sunexposure , use of soaps on the face instead use a soap free cleanser and any cosmetic. You have to be patient as it will take atleast 3-4 months to resolve completely.
