What Causes Itchy Feeling Inside The Anus With History Of Anal Gland Tumor?
I had an anal gland tumor removed 9 years ago and have a colostomy. Have been cancer free and healthy since then. Over the last few days I ve experienced an itchy feeling internally over the anal area but there is no redness or skin lesion on my skin...Have noticed it in the past but it goes away after a very short time...within the same day. Any ideas if I have an internal irritation that would create the itchiness feeling?

The most common and near cause would be worm infestation and pin worm may the cause in my opinion condition can be tentatively treated with "Tab Mebendazole 100 mg and same dose need to repeated after couple of week, another looking to your past history better to get done the clinical examination, hope this information helps, take care.
