What Causes Itchy Blisters In The Throat?

I HAVE HAD A HEAD COLD FOR 2 WEEKS, THAT IS ALMOST GONE, BUT THE SORE THROAT IS PERSISTING. IT FEELS SCRATCHY AND HAS LITTLE BUMPS, KIND OF LIKE BLISTERS. I AM EXTREMELY TIRED. I THINK I AM RUNNING A LOW-GRADE FEVER OFF AND ON. WHEN I LOOK INTO MY MOUTH, THE VEINS IN THE ROOF OF MY MOUTH ARE VERY RED. ARE THESE SYMPTOMS OF STREP THROAT AND WILL KEFLEX HELP?

Good day and thank you for posting this question. Sorry about your throat. Yes , this could be a sign of strep throat but you will need a second opinion by letting your doctor check your throat properly. If it's confirmed strep throat, an antibiotic, like keflex, will most likely be prescribed. But you need your doctor's expert opinion.
I hope this helps.
Thank you
