General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Itchy painful ankles and wrists and painful mouth can be due to hand foot and mouth disease. This is a viral infection that is generally self-limiting and no specific treatment is needed. She should take pain killers and plenty of fluids and should feel better in a few days.

On the other hand, it is best to have your daughter checked with the doctor to confirm the diagnosis and rule out other potential causes of her symptoms.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
