What Causes Itching Sensation On The Face While On Cordarone?
hi am taking Cordarone 200mg twice a day for an irregular heart beat. for two monthsnow.. the skin on my face has become very sensitive , is turning bright red and getting itchy. Any advice please as a visit to my cardiologist is a 3hour drive away. Many thanks.

Cordarone twice a day is quite a high dose as patients usually stay on 200mg once a day long term. Cordarone can give you a photosensitive rash-- ie a rash due to sunlight. When you go out you need to use sun screen. Treatment of the rash is by using hydrocortisone cream. I also suggest getting in contact with your cardiologist.
