What Causes Itching Sensation In The Throat After Consuming Mangoes?

What causes throat to itch after eating mangoes ? Hi. I ve been eating mangoes ever since I was a child, I can t really remember when my throat started having a reaction to mangoes . I don t know whether the reaction is caused by the flesh or the skin but my throat starts to itch . In an attempt to stop it , drinking water makes it worser .And my throat itches only when I m consuming fresh mangoes .Is this some kind of allergy ? I really hope it s not some kind of allergy because I really do love mangoes .

I really appreciate your concern, it is the irritating substance secretes from the mango when it is bit row and if it is being eaten then it may cause irritation in throat and it is not the allergic condition, the upper part of mango need to be avoided when it is not fully ripen hope this information helps.
