What Causes Itching On The Skull While Reading?

I have the abnormal itching on my top part of my skull. This happen when I m focusing to much or in deep thought,reading an article to too long. When I stop for a moment, it cooles down. Is this normal should be worried?. Your assistance will be highly welcome. Kind Regards.

If the itching occurs mainly when you are concerned or worried then it is possible that they may be both a physical and psychological (anxiety) component to it.

Physical causes would be fungal or bacterial infection. If it is fungal then you would need to use oral medications and not a cream.
If it is bacterial , it may be able to respond to topical agents/cream

It would be best to see your doctor for an assessment.
