What Causes Itching On The Legs?

I was sitting down and did not notice that I was sitting next to my phone charger , and suddenly I was feeling and itching sensation near my leg and noticed the charger was touching my leg where the itchiness was coming from , could this be a sign of exposure to a significant amount of radiation that may lead to cancer ?

Hi,

Well, a short duration exposure that you have observed that has let to itching does not seems to be due to excessive radiation exposure that can lead to cancer.

Radiation-induced cancer occurs due to long-term and continuous exposure to radiations but not such a short exposure.

So do not worry as the itching happened due to the head and localized inflammation that occurred due to the skin being exposed to the charger.

You can simply do cool compresses over it if there are inflammation and itching and apply an anti-itch ointment.

Nothing else is needed to be done, just relax.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
