What Causes Itching In The Extremities?

I have trouble with my extremities (hands, arms legs, underarms) and back and shoulders itching fiercely from time to time, several times a day. Seems to move around. I keep the skin moisturized, but wonder if there is something I can take to prevent this.

do u get rashes?
maybe an insect bite, I suggest you use calamine lotion
and take Tab cetrizine 0-0-1
