What Causes Itching In Anus With Blood In Stools?

About a year ago I started to feel the need to itch my anus with toilet paper everytime I went to the toilet, thinking that I had a case of worms. I have taken worming tablets and the problem hasn't gone away. Two days ago I also noticed that when I went to the toilet I was getting small spots of blood on the toilet papaer and a larger amount when i passed a stool. It is still spotting now. Any help would be appreciated?

Hello, my name is Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi.
I understand your concern.
Your symptoms seem to be related to hemorrhoids.
Some advices that I can give to you are:
-Apply an over-the-counter hemorrhoid cream or suppository containing hydrocortisone
- use pads containing witch hazel or a numbing agent.
-Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath.
Hope my answer was helpful. If you have any other question I'll be glad to help.
