What Causes Itching During Urination Post Treatment For UTI?
Hi , I am 34year old male, suffering from UTI since last 1week. After urine test, Doctor prescribed me with Trimethoprim for 7days . On Saturday i started getting chills, fever and pain again. Went to emergency deptt and doctor put 1 gentamicin and gave 2neurofen, 1panadol and told to complete Trimethoprim dosage which will be completed this Tuesday. I was feeling better since last 2 days, however now i m getting itching everytime when i go to urinate. Plz help. Want to know why this is happening.

It could be a recurrence of UTI. Go for a repeat urine culture and if there is signs of infection, antibiotics must be started.
