What Causes Itching And Rashes On The Body?

For about a week, maybe two, I experienced some mild itching, but only in certain spots, not my whole body. I reach over to scratch...my arm, my finger, my leg...and notice a small bump there, very similar to a bug bite. I d scratch it, and then be fine, but I noticed these bumps in multiple places on my body. They never lasted long. I d scratch at it, and within a day, maybe even less, it would disappear, with no more irritation. This continued on for about a week or two, and now, I have no more symptoms: no more more-than-normal itching (I have eczema) and no more tiny bumps. My boyfriend, however, just revealed to me that he s pretty sure he has scabies. Yet to be diagnosed, but all of the symptoms are there. Are my symptoms those of a scabies infection?

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
With the same symptoms in a near contact.. yes you seem to have scabies.. as it is transmutted by skin contact.
To get relief you need to-
-Avoid skin conntact with the infected person &keep away from other family members (to avoid spread of infection in family)
-Use antiscabies skin lotion (like Ascabiol) after a good scrubbing(the affected area) bath.Apply it to complete body below neck(prevent it from getting in mouth &eyes).zdaily for 5 days.
-wash the clothes &linen usde with boiling in soda bi carb &dry it in sunlight.
This shiuld relieve the problem . If not consult a skin specialist doctor.
