What Causes Itching And Burning Sensation In The Upper Chest?

Why would my upper chest cavity have and itchy/burning sensation. Most bothersome near the sternum. I am presently on antibotics for a bacteria UR issue. This has been lingering now for 2 weeks. I am using an albutoral for heaviness of chest. When I apply heat to the affected area it seems to ease the sensation.

According to your complain you have problem of burning sensation in chest that may be because of acid reflux or gastritis problem or other reasons.

Prolonged intake of antibiotics also cause gastritis problem.
Avoid spicy foods and too much fatty foods and junk foods...
Drink more water per day..
Proton pump inhibitor drugs helpful in gastritis.
Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis.
Start a treatment as per reason behind it..
