Hi. IM a 40 yo female. I woke up this morning with both my hands and one foot itching uncontrollably!! I ve tried Antioch creams and they won t help. I thought to check my blood pressure since I tend to sometimes have high BP. it is 152/105 with a pulse rate of 95. I wasn t sure if this high BP could have anything to do with the itching?? Please help
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. It is quite unusual to get up in the morning and experience itching of hands and feet. It has nothing to do with your blood pressure readings. But, your blood pressure readings appears to to little high and needs to be controlled by medications what you are taking. For itching, kindly take Tablet. Levocetrizine 10mg once a day for 5 days. Apply Clotimazole cream tropically twice a day. In case it persists, you need to consult Dermatologist for opinion and proper treatment. All the best.
