What Causes Itchiness All Over The Body After Using Acetaminophen?
My mother, who is 90, recently injured her back and the doctor prescribed hydrocodone-acetaminophen for it. Last night and today she has had itching all over and she is wondering what would be safe to use or take to alleviate it without interfering with the pain medication. Can you help.

itching is a known side effect of acetaminophen. I would recommend taking Benadryl to relieve the itching
But if hives or a rash appears, stop the drug immediately and take her to ER.
