Pregnancy tests are accurate when done 10 days after missing the period or at least one to two weeks after you had sex. If the test has been done accordingly, the result is reliable.
Changes in your normal routine can affect your hormones and cause your period to come early or late. Dieting,Severe exercise, excess weight loss and sometimes long travel,Nutritional deficiencies can cause absent or delayed periods.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
