What Causes Irregular Vaginal Bleeding And Abdominal Tightness After Taking Levonelle?

I took the morning after pill (levonelle) 2 weeks ago the day after unprotected sexual contact. Then last week I had bleeding for three days which I don t think was my period. In the last day or two my stomach, lower abdomen, has felt tight and somewhat bloated and it s starting to really worry me. My period should come in the next two weeks but I feel so anxious waiting. Will a test done now be accurate? Also my period last month started on the 20th but it was irregular so I don t even know when to expect the next. I am also very ill as I have had the flu and the symptoms are also making me worry depite being tired being natural as I have had a weird sleep pattern Any help would be much appreciated .

Hi, i do care for your concern.
the morning after pill is a hormonal pill that will alter your menstural cycle.
However doing an UPT test will help to rule out pregnancy.
Need not panic as this drug alter the cycles, its not to get delayed period.
I would advise to consult your OBG/GYN to choose from different contraceptive methods for long term use.
