Hi.
I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.

Pregnancy, childbirth & breast feeding have much impact on women's menstrual cycle. It is absolutely normal to experience irregular periods or delayed periods or no periods at all for 6 to 12months. It is named as "Lactational Amenorrhea". Also changes in the frequency and volume of your period after pregnancy are possible.

As you already had your first periods post delivery & taken meprate, I advice you to wait for a week to watch for your cycle.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.
Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
