What Causes Irregular Periods And Light Pink Spotting?

Hi ok my period is usually due at the beginning of the monthand last for about 5 to 6 day but this time it only lasted 2 days iIwas sschedule to go get my depo shot February 19 and missed it about a week ago I starting bleeding a week ago for 2 days and also been feeling not like myself now today I go to use the bathroom and when i wipe it s light pink what s wrong

Hello,

A menstrual cycle can last anywhere between 23 and 35 days. Hence, yours is not any abnormal. At times, you may have period early. Your menstrual period lasting only for 2 days is also normal. If you are doubtful, you can have home pregnancy test done. Then you can have your depot shot.

The following are few causes of irregular periods:
1) Stress
2) Various medications
3) Uterine fibroids
4) Usage of emergency contraceptives
5) Endometriosis
You can just meet a gynecologist if you still feel you have any pathology underlying.
