What Causes Irregular Periods And Excessive Hair Loss?

Hi I m 19yrs and I have irregular periods with lots of hairfall and increasing facial hair and I have been prescribed ovacet , is it effective to stop my hairfall also ? I m really worried because I m loosing almost 300 hair strands daily. Please help
