What Causes Irregular Periods Along With Severe Constipation While On Mirena Coil?

I had a mirena inserted about a year ago. No problems unroll now. I have bleeding about three weeks ago and thought this was my normal period, as it has been irregular since I had it inserted but nowhere near as heavy as what my periodss used to be before hand. It has not let up after three weeks and get worse when I go toilet especially doing No.2 s. No pain or any other symptoms. What could this be?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern
Discussion:- Intra uterine device and heavy menses may not be related unless this is being proved, else such bleeding could be due to hormone changes.
Medication:- In heavy bleeding it may need haemostatic drug to seize the bleeding but it must be indicated for this.
Advise:- no need to worry about this because it may not be due to IUD and it will be fine soon.
Comments:- Such bleeding could be due to age and it is not given here.
Hope this information helps you take care and have a nice day
