What Causes Irregular Heart Beat Post Cryoablation?

I am a 69 year old male who s only health issue has been a-fib which was cleared up by a cryoablation. In the last couple of days my heart rate has been slightly irregular and I have been dealing with excessive urination - at least once an hour. Any ideas ??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Excessive urination could be related to any uro-genital problem like infection or an enlarged prostate.
Should run:
- urine analysis
- ultrasound of abdomen and uro-genital tract
- further consultation with urologist.

With regards to irregular heartbeats, I think you need to get a further consultation with a cardiologist and run Holter monitoring to evaluate the changes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
