What Causes Involuntary Widening Of The Eyes In A Child?
My daughter is 9 and for the last three weeks I ve notice she has been widening her eyes and looking to the left. It s certainly involuntary and Im obviously concerned and will bring her to the doctor but can you give me any advice as to what it may be thankyou

If she seems to be staring for long time unaware of the surroundings and not remember it, the possibility of absent seizure should be considered. Please follow up with her Pediatrician as soon as possible. An EEG is required as part of initial evaluation.
