What Causes Involuntary Movement Of Pupils?

I have Hashimoto s and graves, but the graves stopped and then I developed obvious eyelid retraction and double vision with some peripheral loss. This was resolved when I was finally diagnosed and started on Synthroid. It s been almost 4 years and the eyes look normal. However, I developed what I think is rotary nystagmus, my pupils move involuntarily. They move most when I m hungry, just after eating and a lot if I eat something sweet like candy. My Endorcrinologist doesn t understand it and my neuro- opthamologist hasn t yet given me an answer. I m otherwise very healthy, 50 don t diet and look 40. The movement has decreased with Cytomel and I feel more alert as well. My endo thinks the cytomel is a bad idea.
