What Causes Intermittent Twitching On The Left Upper Eyelid?
Hi I ve been experiencing intermittent twitching in my left upper eyelid tor the last two weeks. It doesn t seem to have any patterns or particular stimulus. It lasts anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes and occurs both during rest and exercise. What do you think could cause this?
Twitching occurs due to eye strain, mainly from long time use of phones, computers at work, stress, lack of sleep, excess consumption of caffeine, alcohol or due to medications. I advice you to: - Have proper sleep - Limit use of computer & phones - Avoid alcohol, caffeine, tobacco - Stress free life & rest - Eye massage following warm compress - Antihistamine eye drops if any irritant is present
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.
