What Causes Intermittent Pain In Lower Right Abdomen Long After Removal Of Right Ovary?

Yes...I have a friend who is experiencing intermittent pain in the lower right quadrant of her abdomen - between the groin and her belly button. Her right ovary was removed over 10 years ago, she is not experiencing fever or nausea and there is a certain spot that is tender to the touch. She suspects a hernia but she also mentioned that her leg felt funny. Do you think she should go to the Emergency Room?
