What Causes Intermittent Pain In Head?

I have been experiencing a strange pain in my head, always in the same place (top, front, left side) for around 18 months now. Comes and goes. I ve also recently noticed a dent in that same spot of my skull. It s about the size of a 10p piece. Could this be serious? So worried :(

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The dent in the skull can not be attributed to the pain. Possible causes like migraine attack must be ruled out. Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. You have to get an MRI brain for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

General & Family Physician Dr. Vasudha's  Response
Hi,

I would advise to get an X-ray of skull done to exclude any intracranial or skull pathology. Consult a neuro-physician.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
