What Causes Intermittent Pain And Clear Discharge From The Eyes?

I have had clear drainage from both eyes in small amounts over past 2 days; more comfortable & less red after using OTC eye drops. This afternoon 1 ear has had occasional pain & crackling with a bit of clear drainage; felt improved after applying hot compress but still full feeling. No sinus pain, nasal congestion or coughing. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to conjunctivitis. I suggest using an antibiotic eye drop such as Tobrex three times a day. I also suggest using artificial tears to relieve the symptoms.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
