What Causes Intermittent Left-sided Chest Pain?

I have a stitch like pain on my left side if my chest (feels like it s in my heart )! I get very anxious but it only lasts for a couple of minutes and then it seems to subside. It comes on randomly and isn t related to anything I m doing at the time. I had a full blood count, ECG and chest X-ray about 8 weeks ago and all came back normal except for a slightly elevated thyroid. What could it be??

Hi
brief answer
muscle spasm

Detailed answer

thanks for trusting us as your medical expert

since your all reports and ECG came normal there could be two probabilities and both are extreme

one could be a local muscle spasm or costochondritis which can be relieved after symptomatic treatment

other could be any cardiac cause for that you have to look for a cardiologist for ECHO and TMT depending upon your detailed history and after physical examination.

I tried to keep ot very simple
hope this will help you
Regards
