What Causes Intermittent Diarrhea And Constipation, Abdominal Pain And Mild Fever?

I had a colon resection about 3 years ago to relieve acute diverticulitis (more than 60 diverticulum per inch). Have not had any flare ups since. However, Sun and Mon I had diarrhea. Mon, about noon that eased up, but turned into constipation later Mon evening. Tue and Wed I have experienced bloating and moderate to severe pain in my lower-right abdomen. Passing gas temporarily relieves the pain, but I am now running a low-grade fever.

You should see gastroenterologist to rule out Irritable bowel syndrome. If needed and advised, you should get your colonoscopy done.
