What Causes Intermittent Chest Pain?

I m having chest pain dull ache off and on. It started about 3 or 4 days ago. I thought it was heartburn and took Pepto Bismol thought it was gone them feeling came back. It s a dull ache that lasts for a few seconds then gone. One day it felt like it was in my left breast. It feels like it s below my breast now in the middle of my chest. I have never had any heart problem before. Any advise of what it could be?

Hello,
Welcome to hcm,
You have pain which is not localised and intermittent, which is unlikely related to heart. It could be gastritis only, continue with antacids for a month. If the pain doesn't subside or associated with sweating, palpitations, Pain radiating to left arm, back, or any giddiness then consult your doctor immediately to rule out any heart problems.

Thank you
