What Causes Intermittent Burning Pain And Tingling Sensation In Left Calf?

I have a burning strong pain response in my left outside calf between my knee and half way down the shin. It occurred suddenly when I was kneeling on something and now happens whenever I kneel or turn my foot strongly to the left. Most of the time there is little pain, only when I stress the muscles. It has gotten siightly worse over the last two weeks. I have tried heat and rest to no avail. There is generally a numbness and slight tingling on the outside of my shin below the knee and the area is sensitive to rubbing, showing a sharp pain if I push too hard on the muscles. My doctor recommended rest and possible MRI. Rest has done nothing positive.

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that looks like you have soft tissue injury for which you definitely needs a MRI to go further with your treatment

Hopefully this information will guide you properly.
