What Causes Intermittent Abdominal Pain During Walk?

I am experiencing lower abdomen pain. It is mainly when I walk or pick something up. I asked my obgyn 2 months ago and she said there s no baby or anything noticeable and to tone down on sex to relax the muscles there. The pain has periodically come and gone since then. Is been a few weeks since sex and the pain has come again today. What are the possible problems?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for consulting me at HCM.

Intermittent abdominal pain during walking is likely to be related to muscular origin which comes and goes as stated by you.

You may take over the counter pain killers like diclofenac with anti-spasmodics like mebeverine and drink excess of water with fruit juices for symptomatic relief.

We may expect that pain should start subsiding within 2 or 3 days.

If pain does not go then you should go for some routine blood works and abdominal ultrasound to detect the exact underlying cause.

Consult physician for further treatment.

Regards,
