What Causes Intense Burning Pain After Fasciotomy, Ring Fixation And Skin Grafting?

I had ilizarov ring fixation for fracture of proximal tibia ,two months back. Fasciotomy had been done.After seven days of ring fixation,skin grafting was done.Since last few days I developed intense burning pain around two pin sites.Its really unbearable.Serous discharge is also coming. Kindly opine about the ways to control this menace.

Hi,

It looks like your wound site is infected. Visit your Doctor for the same. He may clean the wound and prescribe some antibiotics and analgesics. Wound infection may delay the healing process.
