What Causes Insomnia And Chest Pain While Suffering From Hypertension?

I m 25 years old female with high blood pressure and low potassium levels, I m currently taking 2 pills 1 amlodipine besylate 5mg and the other one is carvedilol 3.125 mg. I m having strange things happen at night, sometimes I can sleep between 9am to 12 (getting up at 10 or 11 also) and other nights I can t sleep at all until my body crashes and I sleep midday but unable to sleep at night,, I also experience chest pains that are dull, shoulder pain that is right above my left breast area. Is this a side effect of both pills causing these strange things?
