What Causes Insomnia Along With PTSD And Anxiety?

I m currently running on 3 hrs of sleep in a 48 he period due to my RLS/PLMD. My current dose of Ropinarole is 30 mg per day. It s happening from top to bottom. Could this be what is called augmentation? (I ve been told that that is a huge dose. I also have a seizure disorder , PTSD ,Anxiety disorders and Panic attacks.....and am on meds for all of those. Thanking you in advance Shawn Sherrill

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

If with 30 mg Ropinirole you are not getting relief and RLS symptoms are persisting then another drug should be added. You have the problem of severe insomnia too and for this, we can think of adding Clonazepam. Clonazepam will reduce the RLS symptoms and will improve the sleep too.

You can visit a psychiatrist for evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
