What Causes Inflammation On Inner Lip After Chewing Tobacco?
I tried chewing tobacco last night just to see what it was like. I tried 3 pouches over 3 hours and at the end of the night I concluded I would not try it again. Just wondering if I am at any risks from just trying it that one time. I woke up with a very mild inflammation on my inner lip but maybe it is irritation and will go away tomorrow
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain the inflammation on your inner lip is due to chemical injury caused by the chemicals present in the tobacco that you have chewed.. This has led to inflammation and soreness.. You need not to worry and can do warm saline gargles. Suck on ice pops as it will help in reducing inflammation..
Nothing much is needed as it will resolve soon..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora..
