What Causes Inflammation In Eyes?

Hi, my father went under retina surgery about 6 months ago. He was diagnosed with wrinkled macula, I don t exactly know the specialised term. He is 74 years old. Now he has wavy vision on one side. The doctor said there s an inflammation in his eye. What s the reason? Is it something wrong with the surgery or this is a side effect? would it be cured? Thank you in advance for your answer.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the lettuce formation of retina (what I could guessed ) then band surgery is the option, still it is all depends upon the disturbances of vision and stability of vision condition, regular follow up is important,, Laser surgery may be the option and for that it is advisable to discuss this with Retinologist hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
