What Causes Infectious Mononucleosis And Atrial Fibrillation?
Hi, I am a 67 yrs old woman with a 42 yrs old daughter. Last summer and fall we both had epstein barr mono. Since then we both have had numerous health issues, can this be connected to the mono? Neither of us has been well since. My daughter even developed Afib last month. Can you give me any info? Our Dr s says it doesn t have anything to do with it. We were both pretty sick. Thank you

I really appreciate your concern, of course the ill condition may not be due to mono, you have not mentioned what type of health issue you both have, but the cardiac condition may not be due to the infection (Virus) unless know the symptoms or what type of sickness is there nothing can be said for sure hope this information helps.
