What Causes Increased Heart Rate After Alcohol Consumption?
I m 57 and a couple of years ago I started experiencing a high heart rate at night after I consumed 5-6 drinks. It continues today and sometimes happens after 3 drinks or glasses of wine. What is going on and is there any way to prevent or other than not drinking at all?

alchol don't tend to increase heart rate and increase b.p.
5-6 drinks are too much
if possible reduce dose and best will be slowly avoiding it.
1-2 drinks are enough.
drink less, enjoy more
