What Causes Hypoglycemic Symptoms While On Metformin?

Recently diagnosed type 2 diabetes a month ago. Doctor put me on metformin. 1 pill for a week. Then 1 pill in the morning and 1 pill in the evening. During the second week of starting the 2nd pill. My BG would drop to 84 or lower during the 4th to 5th hour after eating breakfast. I started having hypoglycemia symptoms really bad. I thought 70 or lower is hypoglycemic. My BG when I was diagnosed was 225 gdl. I an eating 3 meals and on a 45 carb limit per meal.My fasting levels has been 113 to 125. My body feels jittery when I wake up. I don t think my body is use to these low levels. Today I had hypoglycemic symptoms at 113 today right before lunch. Why is this happening?? Is it the 2nd pill doing it.
