What Causes Hypertension Along With Headache And Swollen Face?

What are some things that might cause high blood pressure, an extreme headache at night, a swollen face? My daughter has had these symptoms last night and today. She has been to the doctor and was sent to get a blood test and a sonogram. I have heard nothing, except my daughter feels miserable.

Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic

High blood pressure, facial swelling, and headache require further evaluation including Renal function test to assess the functioning of kidneys. Moreover, depending on how blood pressure is, it can lead to organ damage. Therefore effective control of blood pressure is warranted. Please be advised to follow-up with your treating physician.

Hope this answers your question
