What Causes Hypertension After Taking Amlodipine?

I m am taking Amlodipine Besylate 10 mg once per day per my doctor for moderate high blood pressure. I m considering using Nattoxym and Theraxym to help clean out my arteries. Nattoxym contains the enzymes Nattokinase 2200 FU and Catalase 172 IU. Theraxym contains proteolitic catalysts protease 1,2,3, serratiopeptidase, papain, bromelain, peptidase, nattokinse, peptidase S, Rutin and minerals. Will these interact with the amlodipine?

Hi,

No these drugs are not interacting with Amlodipine. Since you are having moderate hypertension, it is difficult to control blood pressure with single hypertensive drug. According to guidelines, you should take dual antihypertensive drugs (combination).

Combination of Amlodipine with Telmisartan is good for moderate hypertension. Don't worry, you will be alright with combination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
