What Causes Hunger Pains And Nausea?

I have been having a weird feeling in my belly. It is an empty feeling like when you are hungry. I eat and then I feel extremely nauseous but don't throw up. I can feel the food traveling through me and it hurts as its going down. Any idea what this might be? Oh I have been getting hot off and on. Not sure if I have a temperature
