What Causes Hives On The Buttocks While On Budesonide?

I have been taking budesonide 3mg, three capsules daily since July 7. For past 5 days have hives on buttocks. Per GI specialists also take 4 Lialda daily Question: can budesonide or combination be causing the hives? Doc can t see me until Aug. 3. She said to use cortizone ointment (over counter from pharmacy). Not working.

I really appreciate your concern, you have not mentioned the medical condition for which the medicines are going on, if this is the allergic condition then it can be managed with anti-histamine too, and no need to use the steroid hope this information helps.
